Flavour, Omawumi set to light up Coke Studio

Coca-Cola Nigeria has released the names of the performing artistes for Coke Studio Africa Season 2, which airs in September.

Eight Nigerian musicians namely Olamide, Omawumi, Burna Boy, Flavour, Phyno, Iyanya, Chidinma, Sheyi Shay and Waje will be joining a line up of stars from across Africa for the show.


According to Olufemi Ashipa, Brand Manager, Coca-Cola Nigeria, the selection was spurred by consumers’ request: “We decided to feature these artistes because they are currently the rave of the moment in the Nigerian entertainment industry. Coke Studio Africa is taking music to another dimension. Coke Studio is not just a platform but a journey in discovery and bringing Africa together through music.”

Coke Studio 2 commences broadcast on September 13, 2014. The show will also include behind-the-scenes footage.
