EXCLUSIVE: Lady Gaga Crashes DJ's Set, Performs Impromptu 30-Minute Show at Her Old NYC Stomping Grounds

To celebrate the announcement of her new jazz album with Tony Bennett, Cheek to Cheek, Lady Gaga did what she does best: caused a scene.

The 28-year-old showed up to NYC bar St. Jerome's around 1 a.m. yesterday, July 29, and decided to take the stage for about 30 minutes much to the delight of the crowd. Wearing a red ensemble and jewelry that hung across her face, she hopped atop the bar and belted out numerous hits while onlookers cheered.

It turns out she crashed DJ Zeke Thomas' set  but don't worry, he didn't mind at all.
"I was ready to perform my guest set at St. Jerome's when Gaga walked in around 1 a.m. and decided she was going to sing a few songs for us with her jazz band," Zeke tells Life & Style exclusively. "Obviously my set got cut, but you never say no to Gaga! Not very many people can say Lady Gaga crashed their DJ set."
So why Jerome's? The Lower East Side hot spot is where she spent most of her time as a struggling artist.
It's nice to see Gaga return to her roots.
