Consume more whole grain cereals such as whole grain rice, millet, Guinea corn, wheat and corn (If you are not allergic to them).
Consume more vegetable proteins such as nuts, seeds, beans and the sprouts of these foods.
Drink at least 8 glasses of water a day – unpolluted water- if possible: filtered or spring water.
Get regular, preferably daily exercise.
Try and move your bowels daily.
Consume less fat – avoid or minimize red meat, bacon, ham etc.
Consume less hydrogenated oils e.g. margarine
Consume less fried foods
Consume less milk and milk products.
Consume less refined flour products e.g. biscuits, bread, cakes etc.
Consume fewer calories.
Consume less salt and salty foods.
Consume less coffee and alcohol.
Avoid smoking.
Avoid unnecessary stress and try to stay on top of unavoidable stressful situations.
Consume more fruit and vegetable juices and herbal teas to replace coffee, black teas, soft drinks and other stimulating beverages.
Consume more fresh fish and poultry to replace red meats.
