And now one of her closest pals from that era, designer Nikki Lund, has shared never-before-seen personal photos from their youth.
“We had too many best memories together growing up over the years,” Nikki says in a new interview. “I always loved going to Kim’s dad’s house, Robert. He called me ‘Dickie.’ He was hilarious and a really great guy. Always made us laugh.”

The duo attended grade school together at El Rodeo in Beverly Hills.
One picture shows a very young Kim (with bangs!) leaning on the back of Nikki as the pair smile at the camera.
“I loved going on ski trips together. All of us went to Utah together one year and Aspen another year. Many of my relatives live in Utah so we hung out with all of them and had a blast. Camping, skiing, shopping etc.,” recalls Nikki, who has partnered with Richie Sambora for Nikki Rich Designs.
Nikki reminisces of a time they often dressed up like the Spice Girls, the blonde designer as Baby Spice and Kim as Posh Spice, naturally.
Despite not seeing each other for quite some time, Nikki is proud of the woman the brunette beauty has become.

“It's been years since I have seen Kim. Not for any reason other than we both got busy and had new friends, really. Kim’s mom Kris Jenner came to a Nikki Rich party I threw last year, but Kim’s schedule, like mine, is so crazy. It’s so hard to keep up with it all. I’m sure we’ll see each other soon, though. I have a feeling,” she exclusively tells Extra, adding, “I am proud of Kim’s successes as I know she is proud of mine.”
